From a photographic point of view, there are a couple of problems shooting the tsunami. First, we were trapped on two floors of the hotel with a limited view to the sides. Second, photos can't show the depth of the water and its swift, destructive power. As I mentioned in the first "after" photo, all this happened in a minute.
